About
You're the picture of well-roundedness—you're a straight A student, driven professional, athlete, and/or new parent. You’ve solved problems by gritting your teeth, bottling emotions, and pushing harder. But now you're understandably exhausted—from masking, doing it all alone, without the option to fail or fall apart. Burnt out, you realize you never really learned to identify your feelings or relate to them in a healthy way, so you don't say what you need, you avoid conflict, and you're terrified of disappointing yourself and others. Anxiety, depression, shame, (mom) rage, or disconnection leave you barely recognizing yourself.
I support perfectionists, pregnant women, new parents, former athletes, and BIPOC folks integrate intersecting and evolving identities, recover from burnout, improve relationships, and get unstuck with acceptance. My style is collaborative, affirming, direct, and compassionate. My clients value structure, accountability, humor, and learning tools that work.
You don’t have to keep doing this alone. If you’re ready to stop holding it all in and doing it all, make a move and reach out; taking action can help you feel better and more hopeful. You’ve taken care of everyone and everything else—now it’s time to take care of you— without the guilt.
I am predominantly telehealth, however, I do offer walk and talk and/or running therapy in-person, leaving from my office in SE Portland if using insurance, with established clients (assessment and treatment planning sessions completed via telehealth).
