It takes so much strength to reach out for support and I am so glad you are here. I work with younger and older adults navigating a range of struggles, including religious and spiritual concerns, men's work, anxiety, depression, ADHD, as well as trauma and relationship issues. My approach is strength-centered, relational, and grounded in the belief that healing looks different for everyone.

The state of the world has many of us feeling dysregulated, anxious and depressed. I offer a warm, nurturing space for my clients to process their experiences and emotions, without judgement, with unconditional regard and care. We all carry deep wisdom and knowledge on what we need to thrive. My work with clients aims at assisting them to uncover their deep truths in order to enjoy a more fulfilled existence. I offer sessions via zoom or phone, some clients prefer to limit screen time and find a walking session or just relaxing off camera is a more effective, enjoyable way to engage in therapy. - Currently accepting new clients

My approach draws from CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, and mindfulness while honoring each person’s unique journey. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about their next steps. They’re navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, or life transitions that have left them feeling disconnected from themselves and others. As a veteran, I understand resilience and the courage it takes to ask for help. Some carry the weight of perfectionism or shame; others seek clarity, self-worth, or renewed purpose. Together, we create a safe, grounded space to feel seen, supported, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.

Subtle forms of grief can present with aging, Empty Nesting, or even grieving the loss of a happy childhood you never experienced. Many people continue to grieve the loss of their pre-pandemic lives without the awareness that this is still impacting them. New grief often reactivates old losses. Ayla creates a safe space for you to unpack your source(s) of emotional pain, adding new insights and perspectives, helping you to move forward in life.
