About
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a solo software developer, and a grateful recovering addict. Raised in Eugene, Oregon by an East German chemical engineer and a Mexican electrical engineer, technology and creativity were part of my DNA from day one. I have always loved art and design, and I have been a creative soul since I was a kid. I started coding at 14, founded startups in my twenties, and taught programming at a community college.
In 2017, I pivoted to counseling, working in some of the toughest environments around: residential drug treatment, the Lane County Jail, and crisis intervention. By day, I sit with clients in my private practice and work shifts at the jail, holding space for individuals navigating their darkest hours. That ground level experience keeps me honest. By night, I build digital tools designed to bridge clinical care and modern technology. Words of encouragement are my love language.
