My therapy approach is client centered focusing on choice, strengths and exploration. I am committed to helping children work through issues such as anxiety, transitions, emotional regulation, peer relationships, family conflict and self-esteem. I work primarily with children and adolescents using play, art, sand tray and expressive art therapy interventions. I work closely with families who wish to strengthen their child/parent relationship to help better understand the dynamics that make up a family system. I also work with adoptees more specifically transracial and BIPOC adoptees as well as LGBTQIA+ youth who struggle with identity issues and help them learn more about who they are.
