I like helping individual clients with depression, communication, and self-esteem concerns. Some of the clients I’ve appreciated working with the most had been considering getting help for a long time, but either wanted to try and deal with it themselves or thought asking for help meant they were admitting they were weak or a failure. If ideas like this have kept you from seeking help in the past, know this: I recognize and respect the courage it takes just to enter my office.
