People's stories are one of the most valuable things we have in life. If you want to have a meaningful relationship with someone, you need to be able to understand your own story. Helping individuals to develop and enhance their personal stories is at the crux of my work as a therapist. We all have public and private lives, and I believe the power of developing the stories behind these separate selves is how people vividly change their lives.
