Human beings are incredibly resilient, and it is my belief that through collaboration with a trained counselor, individuals can meaningfully enhance their life path by clarifying their values, goals, and obstacles. When we go through painful experiences—whether physical or emotional—our minds can sometimes respond with feelings of guilt, shame, self-criticism, or powerlessness. In my work, I take a strengths-based, client-centered approach, drawing from solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
