I have extra training in Perinatal Mental Health, assessing and treating postpartum depression and anxiety, Internal Family Systems informed EMDR, Somatic Psychotherapy, Restorative Justice Practices and Principles, Effective Communication/Relationship Building, and Facilitation. Welcome to Genesis Perinatal Support & Counseling for Oregon. I'm Amirah David and I have specialized in supporting new families through the transition to parenthood for 10 years. We are proud to finally open our center to serve families in the Rogue Valley! This is a place where new moms and dads can feel safe to process how they are really feeling and get support for navigating the often messy wild ride of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood. We seek to gently support clients in finding the true source of worth and learn to fill up in sustainable ways so they have more to give to their children, themselves, and each other.
