I work with people to improve adjustment to and management of acute and chronic physical conditions and to support attainment of mental and behavioral health and wellness goals. We will explore your emotions, thoughts and beliefs, current and desired behaviors, and physical health/medical factors, all in the larger context of your unique family and cultural history, current relationships and stressors, and the goals that brought you to therapy. I work with people coping with such things as cancer, diabetes, autoimmune conditions, cardiac events or disease, or lifestyle change to improve health outcomes.
