My ideal client will be eager to imagine and work toward positive goals, what they hope to accomplish in life. Because I am an interactive therapist, I always hope for open-mindedness to the ideas that I bring to appointments. Because I customize my efforts to each unique individual, it is helpful to know about how one's life has unfolded and the preferences that one brings to therapy. Because I don't make decisions or set goals for my patients, I hope they will have the courage and autonomy to decide for themselves. While I am the expert on human nature, I hope my patients will be the expert about themselves.
