I support my client's in understanding, metabolizing, and compassionately accepting how their mind and body respond to life. I am trained in somatic experiencing, polyvagal theory, IFS, and multicultural counseling, and work from an anti-racist, anti-oppression lens. Often clients come to therapy desiring to fix a part of themselves. I help my clients recognize that there is usually nothing wrong, instead our goal is to practice and internalize their capacity to be with their experience. This allows for the need to control, resist, or distract from our reality to dissolve, which ushers in agency, capability, and play!
